Uganda Baati has urged businesses to embrace its SafBuild Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) solution, describing it as a faster and more efficient alternative for industrial, commercial and institutional construction projects.

The company’s chief executive officer, George Arodi, said the SafBuild system significantly reduces construction timelines compared to conventional brick-and-mortar methods.

While traditional construction projects can take between six months and two years to complete, he said SafBuild enables developers to deliver projects in as little as 12 weeks.

According to Arodi, the shorter construction period allows businesses to commence operations sooner, improve cash flow and realise returns on investment more quickly.

“In construction, time is money. Every extra month spent building is a missed opportunity to start generating value…Today’s businesses require solutions that accelerate growth while maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability,” said Arodi.

The SafBuild system consists of pre-engineered building components delivered to construction sites as ready-to-assemble kits.

The structures are designed to be scalable, allowing for future expansion while minimising material waste, reducing on-site labour requirements and maintaining consistent quality throughout the construction process.

Arodi said the technology has already been deployed on several projects in Uganda, including Inspire Africa Coffee Park, institutional developments such as Mountains of the Moon University, and public infrastructure projects including Uganda Wildlife Authority visitor centres.

“Construction is changing. Businesses today need solutions that save time, reduce costs and deliver consistent quality,” Arodi added.
