Mabouya Valley beat Marchand 4-0 on Saturday, December 13, on the grass field at the SLFA Technical Centre in Grande Riviere, Dennery.
La Ressource Primary student Mikeige Fenelon opened the scoring inside the first three minutes, with Zackim Francois doubling the lead less than two minutes later. Francois’ Richfond Combined schoolmate, Leyantus John, added a third in the ninth minute, with Francois completing the rout in the 54th minute.

Each of the top four teams played three games in a knockout format during the short series, which lasted just one week.
But Francois made the most of the brief run, scoring seven goals – a hat trick and two braces.

Canaries took an early lead over Desruisseaux in the third-place playoff. Ken Alexander scored in the seventh, and Kyron Beckford in the 10th to stake the advantage. Anil Jules narrowed the deficit in the 15th minute, before a 10-minute brace from Thomas Charles, in the 25th and 35th, secured a come-from-behind win for DX.
