By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A 28 year old woman of August Pine Ridge Village, Orange Walk District, has reported that her former common law husband threatened to kill her.
The woman told police that around 10:00am on Saturday, October 3, she was at home with her three children, ages 12, 10 and 7, when her ex arrived uninvited and entered the house without permission.
She said he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. When she told him to leave, he allegedly threatened, “I will kill you.”
She says he then insulted her, grabbed her by both arms and pulled her, causing pain, as he tried to take her phone.
The two have been separated for about five months. She has requested court action.
