Belize jaguars set for crucial Nations League matches

By Zoila Palma:  The road to the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup is set to begin for Belize as the upcoming Concacaf Nations League will provide a pathway toward qualification for the region’s premier national team tournament.

According to BK Sports Group, the competition will unfold during the September-October and November 2026 FIFA Match Windows before concluding in March 2027.

Belize is set to face Sint Maarten, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and French Guiana in four upcoming matches. With the exact Gold Cup qualifying criteria still to be provided by Concacaf, the matches will give the Jaguars an opportunity to collect valuable points and build momentum during the opening stages of the competition.

The first four fixtures are scheduled for September 26, September 29, October 3 and October 6, giving Belize a busy opening stretch in the Nations League. Strong performances across these matches could be important as the Jaguars look to position themselves favorably ahead of the later FIFA international windows.

With the matches set to take place at the FFB Stadium, fans will have four opportunities to turn out and rally behind the Jaguars as they pursue a place in the 2027 Gold Cup.
