Breaking Barriers: How Creativity Can Open Doors in 2026
As 2025 comes to a close, many of us are thinking about what the new year could bring - not just for ourselves, but for the world around us. The creative industries are exciting, vibrant, and full of opportunity - but they are also some of the most unequal sectors, notoriously difficult to break into. So as we set our New Year’s intentions, one question stands out: how can creativity mean more in 2026, not just for us, but for those still fighting to be seen?
In the heart of Soho.
Mosaic@Soho is quietly redefining access to the creative industries at a moment when inclusion, purpose, and impact are more important than ever.
Mosaic@Soho, part of Capital City College Group, is a new digital production hub with social value at its core. More than a studio, more than a college, it is a launchpad, offering opportunities for established professionals, emerging talent, and the next generation of creatives who have historically faced barriers to entry.
The mission is clear: tackle one of the industry’s most persistent challenges: limited entry points, particularly for young people from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds. By bringing education and industry together under one roof, Mosaic@Soho ensures that real production work directly funds real opportunity.
London’s newest creative hub offers industry-standard facilities, including green screen studios, sound stages, podcast and audio rooms, grading and animation suites, and screening spaces. But the true impact lies in its model: 97% of every booking fee is reinvested into supporting students through bursaries, hands-on training, and direct industry exposure. Every project created here does more than produce content - it opens doors.
As the creative sector looks to 2026, Mosaic@Soho proves that commercial excellence and social impact can go hand in hand. London gains a studio built for speed, quality, and creativity; young people gain pathways into a notoriously difficult industry; and the sector gains the next generation of talent, actively supporting those who have been historically excluded.
This New Year, as we make resolutions to do better and create with purpose, Mosaic@Soho offers a blueprint for a brighter, more inclusive future in creative production.
