CAF Doping Officer from Zambia Dies After Stampede At Abuja Stadium in Nigeria vs Ghana Match
Mai Gail After Nigeria’s draw to the black stars of Ghana yesterday, tuesday night at the Abuja Stadium in Nigeria, pandemonium erupted as Nigerian fans stormed the pitch to send all players and match officials away from the pitch.
In the process, CAF Doping Officer for the game between Ghana v Nigeria, Dr Joseph Kabungo, has died due to the violence that erupted after the match in Abuja.
Report has it that he lost consciousness after he was beaten & stepped on as fans tried to make their way out of the stadium due to the stampede.
