On Tuesday, the cast of “The Secret Between Us” gathered with fans for a special screening of the faith based drama, bringing together supporters, industry professionals and celebrity guests for an evening centered on accountability, grace and family healing.
Executive producer Keith Sweat attended the screening alongside Bobby Brown, Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson, joining the cast and crew in celebrating the film and its message. Guests filled the venue and engaged with the story, which explores the impact of secrets and the importance of forgiveness in rebuilding broken relationships.
The film follows Jack Fraizer, played by Michael Jai White, a husband and father whose life is turned upside down when a hidden secret from his past resurfaces. Fraizer is forced to confront the consequences of cheating on his wife and keeping the existence of a son born out of wedlock a secret from his family. When the truth is revealed, the family is pushed into emotional turmoil as they navigate betrayal, accountability and the difficult process of healing.
As tensions rise, Fraizer must take responsibility for his actions while working to rebuild trust with his wife and daughter. The story highlights the emotional weight of dishonesty and the challenges that come with confronting painful truths, while also showing how faith and grace can guide families through moments of crisis.
Written and directed by Tamera Hill, “The Secret Between Us” focuses on the reality that no family is perfect and that healing often begins with honesty and accountability. Hill uses the film to explore themes of forgiveness, redemption and faith.
