Good to see Tanya on this, always been inspired since met her many moons ago, was not feeling at best it was pre having 18 inched of bowel removal and life saving surgery. I had attended a DASH Event but because of bowel issues alongside Dyspraxia did not feel much like a person with hidden disabilities and felt a fraud. Through her engagement chat made me realise am Nureodiverse and how stumbled into becoming disability mixed media artist a journey which am still trying to travel today. Good luck to all the new people here looking forward to sharing my artistic journey. Am currently on a joined up mentor of co-laboration alongside Eastside Gallery which am also a member of, it took myself ten years of continuous applying to finally get selected for a year long journeney via zoom where was another place shared with Tanyas painting session (where am uncomfortable with using but decided must get over self and use to using and extend art pratice)Unfortunately this is a bit rickety due to breavement of older brother 5 months ago and recent death ( yesterday) of elderly aunt, who was the last surviving sibling on my mums side. Determined to make art come first been on back burner far too long.
