The Brixton-based youth charity, BIGKID Foundation (based at Dexters Adventure Playground) has been nominated as a beneficiary charity of the incredible South-North adventurers, who are raising money to support programmes around young people’s mental health and resilience.
The BIGKID Foundation told Brixton Buzz:
The South North Adventure is a world-first journey across the British Isles, travelling from its true southernmost point to its true northernmost point.
Covering around 1,500 miles in total, they’ll row 700 miles across open water and cycle 800 miles on land using a custom-built tandem rickshaw.
They are scheduled to arrive at Dexters this Thursday around 3:30pm, we can’t wait to welcome them!
We are inviting the local community along too, to give the team a huge welcome to Brixton, we would love if you could join us.
