DYNAMOS will be hoping to redeem themselves this Saturday when they travel to Ascot Stadium in Gweru to play Tel One FC in their premiership league opener.
Dyamos, popularly known as “Dembare”, walks into the match coming off a humiliating 5-0 defeat in the Castle Challenge Cup against Scottland FC.
Saturday’s game will be another testing time for returning coach Genesis Mangombe, who has lost his first two competitive games.
Under Mangombe this year, Dembare lost 1-0 to Highlanders in the Jairos Jiri Charity Cup, before their 5-0 defeat at the hands of Scottland FC.
“It’s now a new game against Tel One; that one was a cup game. The tactics you apply in a cup game are different from the tactics you apply in a league game.
“It was a heavy defeat, but we have worked to motivate the boys and get a good result against Tel One,” said Mangombe.
Dynamos have started the season under the same financial difficulties that they faced last season.
Currently, the club does not have an official kit and an official sponsor.
New Zimbabwe.com has it on good authority that new players are yet to receive their sign-on fees and February salaries.
