Entebbe UPPC Football Club defeated Calvary 2-0 during the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League at the lake-side Fisheries Training Institute playground in Bugonga, Division A, Entebbe Municipality.
Two first half goals from Isa Bugembe and Ambrose Kigozi inspired Entebbe UPPC to their 12th victory of the season in 26 outings.
Bugembe scored from close range in the 23rd minute following Muhammed Kyeyune’s curling corner kick.
Kigozi, the club top scorer netted his 11th goal of the season from a penalty after the Calvary captain Junior Andama brought down Julius Poloto in the penalty area.
Entebbe UPPC now has 43 points from 26 games. Calvary suffered the 17th defeat that leaves them rock bottom with only 13 points fetched from 26 matches.
