Representing the FSC, Director of External Relations and Operations Nilda Sosa delivered the keynote address on behalf of Director General Claude Haylock, who also serves as Chairman of the IBF Advisory Board.

During her remarks, Sosa commended the graduates for their commitment to continuous learning and emphasized the importance of professional development in strengthening Belize’s financial services sector.

She also reaffirmed the FSC’s commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance regulatory capacity, encourage innovation, and prepare the next generation of financial services professionals.

The Commission highlighted its pride in celebrating several FSC employees who were among this year’s graduates, noting that their achievements reflect both personal dedication and the organization’s continued investment in developing a skilled regulatory workforce.

The FSC congratulated all members of the Class of 2026 on reaching this milestone and applauded the University of Belize Institute of Banking and Finance, its Advisory Board, faculty, staff, and partners for their continued efforts to build a knowledgeable, ethical, and resilient financial services community.
