The Pilot of the Boeing 737 Max was stabbed inflight, causing the plane to temporarily swerve and dangerously lurch midair before eventually stabilizing, after the Omani attacked was reportedly overpowered.
Maulana Rajani said that every claim regarding possible links with Iran, financial support and any external patronage must be investigated in depth, and if the role of any Iranian institution or network is proven, tough international action should be taken against those responsible.
He said that in the past, the United States officials have levelled allegations against Iran-linked individuals for murder conspiracies abroad and offering financial rewards, therefore any possible secret financial or organizational link in the FlyDubai incident should not be ignored.
Maulana Rajani said that any attempt to use passenger aircraft for political violence or terrorism is an extremely serious threat to global civil aviation and international security.

He said that if external patronage, financial backing or pre-planning is proven, strict action should be taken against the responsible individuals and networks under international law.
