FM6SS and ABA LIFE Launch Strategic Partnership to Build AI-Powered Smart Health Infrastructure in Morocco

The Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health (FM6SS)  and ABA LIFE , the health division of ABA Technology , announce the signing of a strategic partnership agreement. This alliance concerns the upcoming creation of a joint venture dedicated to the development and operation of a new generation of smart health infrastructures, based on clinical excellence, scientific research and sovereign artificial intelligence.

As part of the national dynamic to modernize the health system, this partnership is based on a shared conviction: the convergence between medicine, engineering and artificial intelligence is the lever for more accessible, efficient and resilient medicine, in Morocco and in Africa.

A joint venture operational from October 2026

The joint venture will deploy its first solutions from October 2026. The perimeter will cover several health facilities in Morocco by 2027, before being extended to the rest of the African continent in a second phase.

Its field of intervention encompasses the entire health value chain: medical research, clinical AI, telemedicine, territorial health, biomedical engineering, simulation, biomonitoring, emergency management, home hospitalization, public health and incubation of HealthTech startups.

The deployment is based on three major strategic axes:

  • Research & Public Health: Development of applied research programs in AI, precision medicine and One Health approach. The ambition is to support more than 50 research programs and 100 international publications and communications by 2030, supported by the establishment of an African Epidemiological Observatory by the end of 2026.
  • Modernization of Clinical Practices: Acceleration of telemedicine and immersive training. The objectives are to train more than 100,000 healthcare professionals in AI, deploy digital solutions in hundreds of establishments, and carry out more than 25 million teleconsultations and tele-expertise by 2030.
  • HealthTech Industrial Ecosystem: Emergence of a Moroccan hub of reference in HealthTech, MedTech and Biotech. The structure plans to support more than 100 innovative startups, propel African technology champions and contribute to the creation of more than 50 intellectual property assets and patents.

Designed and operated from Morocco, this common platform aims to become a real catalyst for innovation for professionals, researchers, students and public decision-makers.
