Nicolas Jackson remains fully committed to the closing stages of the season despite uncertainty over his future at FC Bayern Munich, according to his agent Diomansy Kamara.
Following confirmation that Bayern will not activate their option to make the striker’s move permanent, Kamara took to Instagram to highlight Jackson’s contribution this season and stress the player’s continued focus on team objectives.
“Nicolas Jackson is having an excellent season. 28 matches played, 10 goals. African champion, German champion and also qualified for the (cup) final,” Kamara wrote, underlining what he described as a successful campaign across multiple competitions.
He added that Bayern’s hierarchy had opted against triggering the purchase clause, but insisted the forward’s attention remains firmly on the present.
“Bayern Munich did not want to activate the buy option, and Nico remains 100% focused on the Champions League semi-final against PSG, a very important moment for him and for the club,” he stated.
Jackson is now preparing for a high-stakes European showdown against Paris Saint-Germain, with Bayern aiming to push deeper into the UEFA Champions League while juggling uncertainty around squad planning for next season.
Kamara also struck a reflective tone on Bayern’s decision, emphasizing the club’s stature and the importance of silverware at this stage of the campaign.
“Bayern is a very big institution; the most important thing is to win as many trophies as possible by the end of the season. The future… who can predict it? Trust the Process, Everything Is Possible,” he concluded.
