Newborn baby blessings for Mister Global South Africa, Marnus Botha, and his wife, Marguerite!
Cape Town, South Africa (29 May 2026) – Mister Global South Africa 2026, Marnus Botha, and his wife, Marguerite Boshoff, have welcomed a baby girl named Marige!
Marnus broke the news on Instagram, sharing snaps of his newborn daughter, following her birth on 27 May.
‘The world is one jewel richer! Welcome, dear Marige. You are so beloved!’ he wrote.
The Mister Global South Africa organisation also celebrated the arrival, congratulating the couple with a heartfelt message in their time of newborn joy.
“May she bring you and your wife endless happiness, laughter, and joy. May she grow into a strong, compassionate young lady with the same passion for serving others that both of you inspire through your own lives. Wishing your family many precious memories, abundant love, and every blessing as you begin this wonderful new chapter together.”
Marnus responded to the post in true new-dad fashion, writing: ‘Girl dad loading…’
Botha is a City Planner for the City of Cape Town and a passionate community builder who volunteers at the Somerset West Night Shelter.
He was named First Runner-up at Mister Global South Africa 2025, where he also took home the Public Choice Award and the Charity Award. This year, he was selected to represent South Africa at the 2026 Mister Global competition in Thailand.
Little Marige joins her big brother at home in Somerset West. Congratulations to the Botha family on their newest and most precious addition!
