Namanda double keeps She Corporate in title race

She Corporate are not relating in the title race and it seems the battle for glory between and Kawempe Muslim will go down to the wire.

With just four games to wrap up the 2025/26 season, the Sharks have kept within breathing space of leaders Kawempe Muslim.

On Saturday, Kawempe obliterated Asubo Ladies, winning 8-0 and this confirming the latter’s relegation. However, She Corporate who were playing at the same time also won to keep the chase on.

Lethal forward Jesca Namanda was the heroine on the day, scoring a goal in either half to lead She Corporate to a 2-0 win over Kampala Queens at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Today’s brace takes her goal tally to 13 in 18 games and leads the scoring chart, three ahead of Catherine Nagadya.

The win means She Corporate remain second on 44 points, one behind Kawempe Muslim.

She Corporate’s remaining games will see them take on relegated Olila in Soroti, St. Noa at home, visit Uganda Martytrs Lubaga before ending the season at home to She Maroons.

On the other hand, Kawempe still have to play Makerere University, Rines SS, Kampala Queens and Olila High School.
