No Confidence In Leadership: National Taxi Union PRO David Christopher Resigns

Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the National Taxi Union, David Christopher has officially resigned from his position, citing a complete lack of confidence in the leadership of Union President Terry Valcin.

In his resignation letter submitted to the Executive Committee, Christopher stated that his decision was made after careful consideration and growing concerns regarding the direction, management, and leadership approach currently being exercised within the organization.

According to Christopher, the principles of transparency, accountability, unity, and effective representation have been compromised under the current President, making it impossible for him to continue serving in his role with integrity and confidence.

“This decision has not been made lightly,” Christopher noted. “However, I can no longer continue to serve within the organization due to my complete lack of confidence in the leadership and direction of President Terry Valcin.”

Christopher further expressed concern over what he described as ongoing issues affecting the credibility and effectiveness of the National Taxi Union, adding that members deserve leadership that genuinely reflects their interests and aspirations.

“Our hardworking taxi operators deserve far better leadership and representation, especially during these challenging times of global uncertainty,” Christopher said. “This is a period where unity, vision, advocacy, networking and strong leadership are critically important for the survival and advancement of taxi operators and their families. Unfortunately, the current leadership is way below par”, he added.

Despite his resignation, Christopher thanked members and stakeholders he worked alongside during his tenure and expressed hope that the organization would eventually move in a more positive and unified direction.

His resignation takes immediate effect.
