North West took the stage at Rolling Loud Orlando on May 9, delivering a lip-synced performance alongside 21-year-old rapper Molly Santana in what appeared to be an unreleased collaboration. The cringeworthy set came on the heels of North’s debut EP “N0rth4evr” and quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of the festival — though not entirely for the right reasons.
The footage made its way across social media, and the response was largely critical. Many viewers zeroed in on the fact that Rolling Loud is an adult festival where alcohol is served, questioning why a 12-year-old was placed in that environment at all. The lip-sync element added another layer of scrutiny, with fans asking why a child was being pushed into public performances she may not have been fully prepared for.

The comments online were unsparing. “This is sad. Why are they allowing this? I’m just too overprotective I guess,” one person wrote on X, per The Mirror US. Another took direct aim at Kardashian: “How about a mother who cares so much about her own appearance help take care of her daughter’s appearance. Really!” A third commenter raised a darker concern: “Her parents should ask themselves if they really want her ending up like Britney Spears.”
The comparisons to child stardom gone wrong resonated widely. “It’s like me and the neighbor girl putting on a show in our backyard for our parents to watch but on a giant level with endless amounts of money, this is actually really really sad. Kim and Kanye are truly bad parents,” another user wrote. Some went even further, calling the situation a manufactured money-making operation rather than a healthy family environment.
