Police Probe Sudden Death

Police are investigating the sudden death of a 24-year-old Swetes resident, according to a release from the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda’s Office of Strategic Communications.

According to reports, officers attached to the All Saints Police Station responded to a call at the man’s residence early Monday morning after a family member discovered him unresponsive. The discovery was reportedly made sometime between 5:30 and 6 a.m., prompting an immediate call to police.

Reports indicate the man was pronounced dead at approximately 7:45 a.m. and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death was subsequently launched.

Police have not released the identity of the deceased.

Investigators have not yet indicated what may have led to the death, and no further details have been made public at this time.

The Police Administration extended its condolences to the man’s family and friends and asked the public to respect their privacy during this difficult period.
