• Oasis Boarding (Uganda) 4-1 Nyabondo (Kenya)

Oasis Boarding Primary School swiftly recovered from a goal down to outmuscle Kenya’s Nyabondo S.S 4-1 during the 2026 FEASSA Games at Morogoro S.S playground on Friday, 14th August.

Juma Baya gave Nyabondo S.S the lead in the 12th minute, beating goalkeeper Jonathan Gift from close range.

Oasis Boarding remained composed with the belief to overturn the result which they did in style.

Goals from Junior Feni, Sudais Jamil, Steven Mungufeni and Abdul Alici spurred the Arua city based school to a comprehensive victory.

“I salute my players for the bravery and courage.” Oasis captain Rafael Munguci remarked shortly after the game.

“Even after conceding first, we remained in shape and played aggressively. I thank the character of my teammates” Munguci added.

Oasis will take on Rwanda team on Saturday, 15th August 2026 as Nyabondo takes on another Kenyan side, Monire.

Still on Saturday, Kibamba (Tanzania) will tussle out against Kenya’s Agongo Primary School.

The primary schools will play round robin with the top performer after all the rounds emerging victorious.

Football aside, the primary schools are also engaged in Athletics, Netball, Volleyball and Handball.

The FEASSA Games will officially be opened on Sunday, 16th August 2026 at the Jamuhuri stadium.

Hosts Tanzania are joined by schools from Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Burundi.

Uganda is the defending champions.
