Queen of Carnival to Represent A&B at Regional Pageant

Fresh from winning the Queen of Carnival 2026 title Zaine Frederick will represent Antigua and Barbuda at the Bank of Nevis Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant in Nevis on August 3rd.

Frederick, who also holds the title of Miss St John’s Rural West, will compete against nine delegates from across the Caribbean in the swimsuit, talent, evening wear and interview segments of the competition.

A business graduate, athlete and entrepreneur, Frederick holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. The Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission said she has consistently demonstrated leadership, excellence and a commitment to personal and community development.

Minister responsible for Creative Industries Dwayne George expressed confidence in Frederick’s ability to represent the country with distinction.

“We have every confidence that you will showcase the beauty, culture and spirit of our people with distinction. We wish you every success,” George said.

Chair of the Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission, Ambassador Elizabeth Makhoul, said the Commission remains committed to supporting Frederick throughout the competition.

“Our hope is that Zaine will be an outstanding ambassador for our country, and we are certain she will represent Antigua and Barbuda with elegance, intelligence and pride,” Makhoul said.

The Festivals Commission is encouraging the public to support Frederick as she represents Antigua and Barbuda at the regional pageant.
