*Nearly two decades after dropping his platinum debut, Rick Ross shows no signs of slowing down.

The hip-hop mogul, now 50, is stepping into what he calls a creative reawakening — and he’s bringing fans along for the ride with a new memoir, a new album, and at least one unforgettable poolside moment.

Ross spoke exclusively with The Daily Mail at a Spotify Audiobooks celebration held at The Peppermint Club in West Hollywood, where he took the stage to share passages from the book, engaged in a conversation with the audience, and wrapped the night with a live set for his most devoted supporters. The event was in honor of his third memoir, “Renaissance of a Boss: Notes from a Creative Reawakening,” set for release on May 12. The book chronicles his experience hitting a wall creatively and what it took to find his way through it.

Alongside the memoir, Ross is gearing up to release “Set In Stone,” his 12th studio album. He made clear the project was not going to be business as usual. “I challenged myself musically. That’s what the renaissance is about, it’s not getting to a point where you feel you at a ceiling,” he said. “Not only should I put out a dope album, it should be f**king challenging any body of work I ever released.”

Ross also gave fans a glimpse into life at The Promise Land, his sprawling Georgia estate that holds the distinction of having the most expansive private pool anywhere in the country. The property hosts his legendary pool parties — though his last aquatic adventure came with consequences. Attempting a move he dubbed “The Double Decker Slapper,” Ross nearly paid a painful price. “I almost broke my f**king leg… But it was fun,” he told The Daily Mail. He also announced a pool party scheduled for June 13 following a car show.

Reflecting on a career that began with “Port of Miami” in 2006 and included a two-year stint as a correctional officer, Ross said early hardships shaped everything that followed. “I appreciate a lot of the falls. I understand them. They prepared you for, you know what I’m saying, the upside,” he said.
