Senegal Supreme Court rules in favour of Farba Ngom

The Supreme Court of Senegal has issued a ruling in favour of Farba Ngom, the mayor and member of parliament for Agnam. According to Dakaractu, the high court on Tuesday 28 April 2026 ruled in his favour in the appeal filed following a previous judicial decision. This decision should pave the way for his release. It would be recalled that the Financial Indictment Chamber had initially upheld a provisional release order.
