K. Michelle’s story doesn’t match Shamea Morton’s version of events.
Shamea Morton has been a hot topic on social media due to her interview with Carlos King. The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star is expected to be in the hot seat at this season’s reunion. She is currently at odds with Porsha Williams, Angela Oakley, and Drew Sidora. Interestingly, her recent comments about K. Michelle could also lead to some tension during the reunion taping.
Carlos asked Shamea about the accusations K. Michelle made during a recent episode of RHOA. In the episode, K. Michelle talked about a recent outing she had with Shamea and her mom. She claimed that Shamea’s mother went with them to the club and had her boobs out.
K. Michelle also said she broke down in tears that night because Shamea said that none of her friends want her to be friends with K. Michelle, so she hopes she’ll be loyal.
Well, Shamea had a different version of events. She said she and her mother didn’t go to a club; they went to see Babyface and Charlie Wilson perform. And they did so with Kandi Burruss and her mother, so Shamea told K. that it was unlikely that Kandi would be okay with her tagging along. This is due to Kandi’s longtime friendship with Rasheeda, K. Michelle’s foe from LHHATL.
Shamea also showed Carlos what her mother wore that night, and Carlos noted that her boobs were not on display.
“I don’t see no boobs,” Carlos said.
The situation makes Shamea cautious about hanging out with costars when the cameras aren’t around.
“It makes it hard to hang out with people outside the show without the cameras because you feel like you’re always going to have to try to prove your innocence, and I like K. and I’m excited to get to know her,” Shamea said.
When Carlos asked Shamea what she recalls saying to K. that caused all of this, Shamea said:
“I told her that K, regardless of whether you have beef with any of the people I’m friends with, I don’t care about that. I’m your friend. I want to get to know you for myself. Can’t nobody tell me who to be friends with. They can’t tell me to be friends with you, or not be friends with you. I’m looking to get to know you for myself. I like you. I want to get to know you. That was the conversation and that got turned around to my friends don’t want me to be friends with her. They don’t even talk about her.”
Carlos went on to ask, “Since you’re saying that K. Michelle took a conversation that was innocent and blew it up to be something that it’s not, is it safe to say that in Dallas, when K. Michelle was told that Drew, Porsha, and Phaedra were going to attack her about these rumors, do you still believe K. Michelle?”
Shamea said, “Everything has perspective, right? So, where I said I said this to K., K. feels like in her heart I told her that it’s hard being her friend, and they don’t want me to be her friend, and made her feel bad enough about it to where she cried in the club. All I can do with that, Carlos, is say I’m sorry, K. I hate you feel like that. That wasn’t my intention…If I misspoke, you know I’m good for an apology. If I misspoke and made you feel like that, I’m sorry.”
