Sunrise Airways marked the launch of its new direct route between Cap-Haïtien and Newark Liberty International Airport with an inaugural flight and celebration attended by airline officials, airport representatives, travelers and community leaders. From a ribbon-cutting ceremony and commemorative presentations to the first passengers boarding the historic route, these photos capture a milestone that strengthens ties between northern Haiti and the New York–New Jersey Haitian Diaspora.
