Dr. Latonya Bias is a licensed cosmetologist with over 30 years of expertise, a published author, founder of the Love Life Lupus Foundation, and a lupus advocate whose work is rooted in both lived experience and service. When lupus began attacking her body, it took something most women rarely speak about openly: her hair. Her edges thinned. Her scalp became inflamed, and when battling the illness has impacted many women in the same areas as it relates to hair loss. In searching for solutions, she found a gap; there was nothing created with women like her in mind. So she created her own.
