Taylor Swift Updates Website With New Countdown After Dropping Cryptic ‘0’ Clues

Taylor Swift is at it again. After setting out a trail of clues related to the number zero, the pop star has launched a countdown on her website — and it’s set to last just two hours.

As of Tuesday morning (Sept. 22), Swift’s website automatically redirects to the following domain: https://store.taylorswift.com/password. It displays a red curtain background with clock numbers steadily ticking down, as well as a note confirming that the countdown “ends Sep 22 at 2pm ET.”
Billboard has reached out to Swift’s rep for comment.
Fans will have to wait until then to find out what the 14-time Grammy winner is up to. For now, all they have to go on is the mysterious to Swift’s Instagram bio and The Life of a Showgirl lyrics on Apple Music, where all the letter O’s are replaced with zeros.
“And, baby, that’s sh0w business f0r y0u,” her bio now reads.
Swift also dropped Easter eggs in her recent Law & Order: SVU parody shown at the 2026 Emmys. Portraying a rookie detective alongside star Mariska Hargitay, the singer stared directly into the camera and hinted: “Saccharide. Ares. From the Vineyard. North or South.”
Naturally, fans are freaking out. Some theorize that the pending announcement must have something to do with Swift’s 2025 12-week Billboard 200-topping album, noting the aesthetic of the countdown. “okay so def showgirl related,” one Swiftie wrote on X, resharing a screengrab of Swift’s website. “Could be: tour, music video, deluxe album.”
Others have put together that the third letters of each of the words she pointedly said on the SVU skit can be rearranged to spell the word “Encore.”
There are also a number of fans who think the announcement has something to do with the long awaited Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version) re-record of Swift’s 2006 debut album. “My gut says 000 = 0:00 — a clock reset,” one person wrote. “We’re going back to the beginning. With Debut’s 20th anniversary next month + Taylor saying the remaining re-records would now be a ‘celebration,’ I think we’re finally getting that anticipated ‘20th Anniversary Deluxe’ with vault tracks.”
