*Tubi has expanded its collaboration with Kevin “KevOnStage” Fredericks into its largest creator partnership to date. The deal builds on the success of the original “SAFE SPACE,” released in November 2025. It now spans multiple projects across comedy, scripted series, and film.
According to the news release, the new agreement includes two additional seasons of “SAFE SPACE.” It also adds a new scripted workplace comedy, a stand-up special, and original feature films. The expansion marks a shift toward a broader creative slate for Fredericks on the platform.
Tubi general manager Rich Bloom said the partnership reflects the platform’s focus on creator-driven storytelling. He said Kevin has built a strong connection with audiences through authentic comedy. He also emphasized that Tubi aims to help creators grow across formats.

Fredericks said “SAFE SPACE” helped establish his relationship with Tubi. He said, “Safe Space found its audience on Tubi, and I found a home.” He added that the partnership gives him space to expand into stand-up and film work.
He also said the deal supports broader creative opportunities. Fredericks highlighted a focus on amplifying new voices, including Black creators. He said the collaboration allows him to build “something much bigger than one show.”
“SAFE SPACE” will return for a second season in June 2026. The scripted comedy follows Dr. Fredericks as he attempts to guide struggling couples through therapy sessions. Season two will introduce new cast members and guest appearances across eight episodes.
Season three is scheduled for July 2027. The storyline continues with Dr. Fredericks working with multiple couples. His methods grow increasingly unconventional as the sessions unfold.
A new series titled “THE AIRPORT” will debut in November 2026. The 10-episode comedy is set in a chaotic airport. It follows staff members struggling to manage daily operations.
Fredericks will also release his first streaming stand-up special, “GRIEF SUCKS,” on February 21, 2027. The project explores grief and family through personal storytelling and comedy.
Two feature films are also part of the slate. A holiday comedy arrives in 2027, followed by a horror comedy in 2028.
The deal expands Tubi’s creator-focused strategy launched in 2025. The platform now hosts thousands of episodes from hundreds of creators. The KevOnStage partnership marks one of its most ambitious creator deals to date.
