From fire breathers and flying motorcycles to trapezists and jaw-dropping stunts, UniverSoul Circus returns to Atlanta this week with an all-new production opening Wednesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. under the big top at the former Turner Field Grey Lot.

To celebrate its homecoming stint, this week UniverSoul will roll out all the stops – from its first-ever HBCU scholarship presentation and opening night marching band welcome, to pre-show performances, themed nights, and Mother’s Day festivities.
This year’s latest production features superstars from five continents delivering jaw-dropping stunts, comedy, dance, and cultural performances, all with the signature swagger that has defined the show for more than three decades.
On Tuesday evening, UniverSoul previewed the show in Stockbridge at “Tasty Tuesday” at Clark Park.
UniverSoul Circus brought a high-energy sneak peek performance to the City of Stockbridge’s “Food Truck Tuesday,” featuring fan-favorite acts including skaters, stilt walkers, Caribbean dancers, hand-balancing performers, foot jugglers, and Fresh the Clowns.

Over 2,000 people were in attendance.
Celebrating 32 years under the Big Top, the UniverSoul Circus is a single-ring circus, established in 1994 by Cedric Walker, who wanted to create a circus with a large percentage of people of color performing. It is headquartered in Atlanta
UniverSoul Ring Master Walker said the circus is excited to be back in its’ home and can’t wait to show guests what’s in store for the upcoming weeks.
“Thank you so much for having us, and we are so proud to be back in Atlanta, where we started in 1994,” he said. “That was 32 years ago when this started, and to be back feels like home.”
