The Sharks were flying against Benetton, but the biggest cheer may have gone to one youngster who decided to test himself against Ox Nché.
Durban, South Africa (13 May 2026) – It turns out the toughest tackle of the afternoon at Hollywoodbets Kings Park may not have come from a Benetton player at all.
After the Hollywoodbets Sharks wrapped up their entertaining 46-7 win over the Italian side on Saturday, one young supporter stole a bit of the spotlight during the post-match celebrations when he made a fearless charge at Springbok prop Ox Nché.
In a moment that had fans around him laughing, the youngster launched himself at the towering front-rower in what looked like a fully committed tackle attempt.
And to everyone’s amusement, Ox played along perfectly. It was the perfect ending to an afternoon where the Sharks were already giving their fans plenty to cheer about.
The Durban side ran riot against Benetton, scoring seven tries in an electric performance packed with big carries, slick attacking rugby and standout moments from some of the team’s younger stars.
Sometimes the best moments in sport happen after the final whistle.
