*Wayne Brady is going scorched earth on Bill Maher — reigniting a feud that’s been simmering for over a decade and calling the late-night host racist.

During a May 7 appearance on the podcast “America, Who Hurt You?,” Brady didn’t hold back when asked about Maher’s past comments. “He is racist, and I don’t care,” he said bluntly, reopening a controversy that dates back years.

At the center of the tension is a 2010 CNN interview where Maher joked about then-President Barack Obama while referencing Brady in a comparison. Per TV Insider, Maher said, “I thought when we elected the first Black president, as a comedian, I thought that two years in that I’d be making jokes what a ‘gangsta’ he was. And not that he’s President Wayne Brady, you know. I thought we were getting Suge Knight.”

Brady slammed the remark, saying it crossed a line by a white comedian attempting to define Black identity. He argued the comments weren’t just offensive, but part of what he sees as a broader pattern in Maher’s public rhetoric.

He also pointed to Dave Chappelle’s recent Netflix special “The Unstoppable,” noting that Chappelle also took aim at the “Real Time” host. In the special, Chappelle says of Maher: “I’m so f*ing tired of his little smug cracker-a commentary.”

“It took Dave Chapelle recently saying something,” Brady said on the podcast. “Then I told people the day that I said to Bill Maher after he was using that joke of saying, well, ‘I wish that President [Barack] Obama was less Wayne Brady and more,’ I forget which gangster rapper or whatnot. And even that, how dare you, as a white man, try to define this thing?”

Brady admitted he once found Maher funny but said that changed over time. “Listen when people tell you who they are,” he said, explaining his shift in perspective.
