*Xzibit is facing significant financial pressure while navigating his ongoing divorce from estranged wife Krista Joiner, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
The filings outline a mix of tax debt, personal liabilities, and business obligations totaling several million dollars, alongside disputes over spousal support. The documents state Xzibit owes more than $400,000 in back taxes to the State of California and roughly $900,000 to the IRS, bringing his total tax debt to about $1.3 million. In addition, he reports over $1.4 million in personal debt and approximately $2 million in business-related obligations.
Financial disclosures show Xzibit earns around $66,547 per month, while estimating Joiner’s income at about $12,843 monthly. He also lists average monthly expenses of approximately $23,566, arguing that his ongoing obligations significantly reduce his financial flexibility.
The hip-hop star claims he does not have substantial assets and says his income has recently come from touring and promoting a new album. However, he notes that this revenue is not expected to continue consistently, raising concerns about long-term financial stability.
Xzibit has been paying temporary spousal support but is requesting that those payments end once the divorce is finalized. He argues that, given both parties’ financial circumstances, additional support should not continue after the legal process concludes.
The rapper and his estranged wife wed in November 2014 and went their separate ways in 2021. They have one child together, with Xzibit currently obligated to pay $5,145 per month in child support under the existing custody agreement.
