High above the city skyline, an unforgettable evening unfolded as advocates, families, community leaders, and supporters gathered for the Black & Gold Affair Gala—an event created through the vision of autism advocate , speaker, author, and entrepreneur Crystal Jordan and her growing Auesomely You movement.
What could have been simply another elegant evening became something much deeper—a night rooted in advocacy, purpose, and connection.
Guests arrived dressed in black and gold, stepping into an atmosphere filled with celebration and intention. Beyond the red carpet and memorable moments was something even more meaningful: a community united around the belief that autism families deserve to feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
Inspired by her journey as the mother of her son, Zachariah, Crystal Jordan built Auesomely You after choosing advocacy over silence following his autism diagnosis. What began as one mother’s mission to create a better world for her child has grown into a larger movement creating support and impact for families.

Beyond the gala, Crystal recognized that many mothers needed more than information, They needed each other.
That realization led to the creation of Auesomely You Sisterhood, designed as a space where women can connect, build friendships, attend experiences, and find community while navigating similar journeys.
One of the evening’s most powerful reminders centered around the mission of Auesomely You Cares Inc.: Every child deserves a voice.
Through efforts like the AAC Empowerment Program, the organization continues increasing access to communication tools and support for families.
Because communication is not a luxury. It is a necessity.
The evening also featured impactful conversations from autism moms and advocates whose stories of resilience, wellness, and leadership transformed the room from an audience into a community.
