Airtel Uganda Limited has declared an interim dividend of UGX 124 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, following approval by its Board of Directors on August 26, 2026.
The dividend represents UGX 3.1 per share and was declared pursuant to Rule 41 of the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) Listing Rules, 2025.
According to the company’s public announcement, the interim dividend will be payable on or before October 7, 2026, net of withholding tax, to shareholders registered in Airtel Uganda’s share register as of the close of business on September 16, 2026.
September 16 will serve as the book closure date for purposes of Rule 41 of the USE Listing Rules, 2025. Airtel Uganda also reminded shareholders to provide updated payment details and contact information to ensure that dividend payments and other shareholder communications are received correctly and on time.
The announcement was issued by order of the Board and signed by Godfrey Bakibinga, Company Secretary, in Kampala on August 27, 2026. Airtel Uganda Limited is a subsidiary of Airtel Africa plc and is regulated by the Uganda Communications Commission.
