CELEBRITIES, INDUSTRY LEADERS, AND FRIENDS GATHER TO SALUTE MUSICPRODUCER CAVIAR AND ACTOR-SINGER KEITH D. ROBINSON DURINGSTAR-STUDDED BET WEEKEND CELEBRATION

The entertainment community came together during BET Weekend for an unforgettable evening honoring legendary music producer Kannon “Cavie” Cross and acclaimed actor and singer Keith D. Robinson. The private celebration brought together actors, musicians, media personalities, and industry executives to recognize the accomplishments, impact, and continued contributions of two respected creatives.

The event was hosted at beTRUE Studios in Los Angeles, a new creative venue and production space operating in partnership with Caviar’s entertainment and promotions company, Vortex Hollywood. The BET Weekend celebration served not only as a tribute to entertainment
excellence but also as an opportunity to introduce the venue to industry leaders and creatives throughout Los Angeles. Designed for photography, podcasting, content creation, screenings, private events, and entertainment activations, beTRUE Studios offers a modern, versatile environment for creators and brands. Hollywood.

Caviar, a Compton native and highly respected producer, has helped shape the sound of hip-hop and R&B through his work with iconic artists including Aaliyah, DMX, Macy Gray, T.I., Goodie Mob, E-40, and many others. Beyond his musical achievements, Cavie recently demonstrated his commitment to humanity and service by helping fulfill a cancer patient’s final wish, spending time with him and producing a song that created a lasting memory for the family just one week before the BET Weekend celebration.

Keith D. Robinson, beloved for his performances in “Dreamgirls,” “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” and the hit daytime drama “Beyond the Gates,” was recognized for his outstanding career as both an actor and recording artist. Fellow cast members and supporters from “Beyond the Gates,” including Brandon Claybon and Timon Kyle Durrett, attended the celebration in
support of Robinson and his continued success.

The evening welcomed an impressive roster of entertainers and special guests, including EDI Mean of the Outlawz, Maino, Jim Jones, Amina “BUTTAFLY,” Micah Ari Brown, Charisse Mills, LazRael Lison, Mayjah Payne, Dusty the Rapper, Rasheeda Wallace, MRG, G Flame Bugatti,
Bouge Que, Compton AV, Brandon Claybon, and Timon Kyle Durrett, all joining the festivities to celebrate the honorees and the culture that continues to inspire generations.

Celebrity chef Ewanda Jackson, personal chef to actress LisaRaye McCoy and founder of Healthy Choices, provided a remarkable culinary experience that became one of the highlights of the evening with assisting partner WHATCHITGROW INC. Guests gathered in the VIP section throughout the night to enjoy her healthy signature dishes, including specialty oxtail
macaroni and cheese, barbacoa bowls, smoked chicken sliders, and delicious deviled eggs.

Attendees also enjoyed tastings from the iconic tequila brand Don Julio, adding to the evening’s premium hospitality experience.
