Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci to receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
Brother and sister-in-law Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt are getting honoured with their stars in the same day.
The Devil Wears Prada stars Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci will receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday in a combined ceremony.
Tucci and Blunt are also brother and sister-in-law because Tucci is married to Blunt’s older sister, Felicity Blunt.
The pair is currently promoting their highly anticipated project together, The Devil Wears Prada 2, which will be out in theatres on April 30. The immediate commercial success and critical acclaim of the first film spurred the production of the second film 20 years later.
Blunt and Tucci will be honoured with the 2,841st and 2,842nd stars in the category of Motion Pictures.
“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. A double star ceremony like this is rare, and it feels especially meaningful to honour two artists whose work and friendship have resonated so deeply with audiences around the world,” stated Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame Producer.
“Emily and Stanley have each built amazing careers on their own, but there is a special bond they have as stars of both Devil Wears Prada films. Celebrating them together on the Walk of Fame will be a moment that reflects both their individual achievements and the genuine connection they share,” added Martinez.
