Fifi Cooper Suspends ‘1 Night With Fifi Cooper’ Tour Amid Personal GBV-Related Matter. South African rapper Fifi Cooper has announced the immediate suspension of her highly anticipated 1 Night With Fifi Cooper Tour, citing an unexpected personal matter related to gender-based violence (GBV).

In an official statement released through MoCooper Records, the award-winning artist said the difficult decision was made after careful consideration, with her immediate priority being the safety and well-being of herself and her family.

The statement confirmed that all tour activities have been placed on hold while the situation is addressed.

“As a result, upcoming tour activities will be paused,” the statement read, adding that new dates will only be announced once they have been finalised.

The suspension also means that two scheduled performances have now been cancelled. The first was set to take place on 25 July at Carnival City’s Mardi Gras Theatre, while the second was scheduled for 1 August in Mahikeng.

Fans who purchased tickets through official ticketing platforms will receive automatic refunds. According to MoCooper Records, the refund process has already been initiated, and payments will be returned to the original method used during purchase.

The record label also thanked fans, media partners and brand partners for the overwhelming support shown during what it described as an exceptionally challenging period.

In a heartfelt message addressed to her supporters, affectionately known as “FIFINATION,” Fifi Cooper expressed her gratitude for the unwavering love and loyalty she has received throughout her career.

“I am so grateful for each and every one of you. I can’t thank you enough for the loyalty, love and support that you’ve shown me throughout my career,” she said.

The rapper also apologised for the cancellation of the tour, saying the changes were never part of her plans.

“I am so deeply sorry that we have had to make these changes. I apologise for any disappointment caused. This was not my intention.”

Despite the setback, Fifi Cooper assured fans that she intends to return stronger, saying their continued encouragement has given her the strength to face the situation with faith.

“I intend to come back stronger. I’ve always drawn so much strength from you, and because of that, I will face this with my head held high and leading with faith.”

While the statement references a personal matter relating to gender-based violence, no further details have been disclosed. MoCooper Records requested privacy for the artist and her family as they navigate the situation.

The label added that any future updates regarding the tour or Fifi Cooper’s return to the stage will be shared through her official social media platforms.
