Kirya will provide offensive options for Kitara from the midfield zone

Kitara Football Club’s aggression in the domestic transfer market continues with yet another combative midfielder in Jeromy Kirya.

Kirya penned a two-year deal with the Royals as a free agent after his contract at BUL had expired.

The hardworking midfielder is an established passer of the ball from all distances, a good dribbler and shoots at goal.

The writing is well spelt on the wall that Kirya boosts the offensive department of Kitara where Frank ”Zagga” Tumwesigye shone brightest last season.

He is yet the umpteenth signing for Kitara following the capture of goalkeeper Joel “Vama” Mutakubwa, Nicholas Kasozi, Diego Missi Ssemugera, Jackson Sembatya, Martin Kizza Lubwama and Ghanian defender Christopher Bonney.

Kitara is preparing for the upcoming FUFA Super eight competition in preparation for the new season where they will represent Uganda on the continent in the CAF Confederation Cup as well as the domestic season.

The Hoima city-based entity already confirmed the departure of eight players to include two goalkeepers Aziz Saleh and James Alitho.

The others are; Muhammad Shaban, Yunus Sibira, Sadiq Ssekyembe, Amir Kakomo, Frank Kasumba and Eric Tumwine.
