The Barbados Police Service has arrested and formally charged 27-year-old Justin Jamar Maynard of Block 7C, Haynesville, St James in connection with several offences committed on May 19, 2026.

Maynard was charged with wounding, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and assault.
He appeared before Magistrate Cuffy Sargeant in the Holetown Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 22, where he pleaded guilty to the offences.
Maynard was fined $5,000 Barbados currency, to be paid within one month.
He is scheduled to reappear in court on Thursday, June 18.
