VANCOUVER Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in the back twice in the Downtown Eastside on Wednesday afternoon.
The assault happened when the victim was walking in the 300-block of East Hastings Street. He got into a fight with the suspect who then pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the back twice and walked away.
The victim sought help from a nearby business where staff called 911. He was taken to hospital where his wounds were deemed not life-threatening.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing a grey hoodie and dark pants.
