Revelation. This is my favourite breakfast but not why.

Metaphor

The green pistachio peeps out
From a flooded morass of oats
As cinnamon people stand buffeted
By winding spoon on chopped banana
Better than sweet souls
Of sun kissed Californian raisins
Stuck to the sand of an overheated pan
As I scry a metaphor from breakfast
Of climate chaos yet to come
Via the acid rains of family digestive tract

Make your own porridge breakfast below. Thank you

My ‘A First Time for Everything Journal’ supposes I may have had a first recurring dream and indeed I do but can I remember it. In my head this chanso, a kind of love, sounds like a rap. Try it.

Sad Meditation

Here it comes again. My recurring dream
Another chance to bite the hand that feeds
For those things the hand said I should receive
Good things offered not as good as first seemed

Those golden sunshine days of running free
Learning there is much for us to run from
When the grim state removes you from your mom
Denying you the right to family

So it is I try to be included
In the community I am losing
Through segregation of the medics choosing
Again the government is deluded

Their stated aim rehabilitation
This is something I cannot realise
I was never made to be normalised
Moulded and shaped to my classes station

Then denied the right to education
And knowledge is the thing I still thirst
But they said my health must always come first
So i’m left with this sad meditation

There is no real need for segregation
Not now not here within this failed nation
