…CEO says project will create jobs, attract diaspora investors, deliver world-class living

In a move aimed at strengthening the company’s vision of promoting the newly launched estate as a premium investment destination in Ogun State,
MetroLux Estate has unveiled popular actor and comedian Tobi Elegbede as its Brand Ambassador.

The unveiling ceremony held in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The real estate management said the partnership with the entertainer would enhance public awareness and encourage more Nigerians, both at home and in the diaspora, to invest in the project.

While speaking to journalists shortly after the unveiling, the Chief Executive Officer of MetroLux Estate, Amb. Olalekan Egbetola, described the project as a world-class residential development under the umbrella of Accurratte Hommes Int’l, designed to provide affordable land and landed properties for people across different income levels and social classes.

According to him, the estate, located along Alamala Road, Rounder, towards Ayetoro Road in Abeokuta, spans about 50 acres and is strategically positioned to offer investors significant long-term returns while providing residents with a serene and secure environment.

He disclosed that beyond land ownership, MetroLux Estate is planned to feature modern infrastructure and recreational facilities, including a lawn tennis court, green areas, water fountains, a police post, a market area, and other amenities that will make it a premium residential community.

Egbetola said the company had already developed a proposed 3D layout for the estate and commenced allocation of street-naming rights to some investors who subscribed during the pre-launch phase.

The CEO explained that the company was engaging relevant government agencies, including the Ogun State Bureau of Lands and Survey and Abeokuta North Local Government, to facilitate seamless documentation and ensure subscribers can commence development without unnecessary delays.

He added that the project would also create employment opportunities while attracting investments from Nigerians in the diaspora through partnerships with companies in the United Kingdom and Canada.

Speaking on the vision behind the project, Egbetola said MetroLux Estate was conceived to develop a well-planned, high-class residential community with regulated and structured development.

“We have taken time to study the shortcomings of some estate developments, and we are determined to build a sustainable estate that delivers lasting value. Investors are not just buying land; they are buying into the future of this location and the vision behind it,” he said.

He noted that the estate would operate as a serviced-plot development with clearly defined terms and conditions to encourage immediate construction and orderly development among subscribers.

On security, Egbetola said the estate’s location opposite the Alamala Barracks offers a strategic advantage, adding that the company is exploring partnerships with military authorities to further enhance security within the estate.

He also assured prospective buyers that the land is free from encumbrances, explaining that it was duly purchased from the original family owners and possesses both customary and statutory documentation registered with the Ogun State Government.

According to him, prospective subscribers can independently verify the survey coordinates with the Bureau of Lands and Survey to confirm that the land is genuine, free from government acquisition, encroachment, and any other form of legal dispute.

Egbetola encouraged investors to take advantage of the ongoing pre-launch offer, expressing confidence that early subscribers would enjoy substantial appreciation in property value as development progresses.
