By Zoila Palma: The Ministry of Health & Wellness has issued a statement condemning the senseless killing of Dr. Naum Bonilla, a dedicated medical professional and true patriot whose lifelong service touched the lives of countless Belizeans.
“Dr. Bonilla faithfully served the people of Belize for many years through the Western Regional Hospital, where he became known for his compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to patient care. Throughout his career, he helped save and improve countless lives, leaving behind a legacy of service that will never be forgotten,” the Ministry said.
The Ministry says that Dr. Bonilla’s passing is a tremendous loss not only to the medical community, but to the nation as a whole.
“Belize has lost a man who dedicated his life to the wellbeing of others and to the service of country,” the Ministry added.
The Ministry extended deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all those mourning this tragic loss during this difficult time.
May his legacy of service, humanity, and dedication continue to inspire generations to come.
