OWN Is Giving the Girls Two New Digital Series and Honestly, It’s About Time

OWN just dropped news that has us sitting up straight: two new digital series are premiering this July, and both are built entirely around women who are out here shaping culture in real time. Not as sidekicks. Not as footnotes. As the main event.

This is OWN doubling down on creator-led storytelling, and the through-line is simple: put women at the center, let them be funny, be real, be bold, and let the content reflect the full range of who they actually are. Beauty. Dating. Digital life. The whole vibe is for the baddies, the bosses, and the women who are already leading the conversation whether the culture catches up or not.

Here’s what’s coming.

GLOW UP IN 5 — Premieres July 21, 2026
Hosted by actress and lifestyle creator Zoe Spencer, who has already built a name for herself online being funny, fearless, and completely unbothered about being anything other than herself.

The premise is chaos in the best way: Zoe gets hit with a surprise beauty challenge, no prep, no clues, and has exactly five minutes to pull off a full glow-up in hair, makeup, or skincare. It’s improv glam under pressure, and the takeaway is bigger than the makeup bag. This is about showing up intentional and ready when the moment calls for it, perfection optional. Every episode ends one of two ways: a Glow Up, or a Blow Up. No notes, we’re already invested.

DATING DOWNLOAD — Premieres July 29, 2026
Hosted by Kendra G, aka Kupid with a K, media personality and self-appointed modern matchmaker for the extremely online generation.

This series takes ten women and pairs them with the exact archetype they said they wanted on paper: the provider, the entrepreneur, the soft guy, the reformed player. Naturally, chemistry doesn’t always cooperate with a checklist, and that’s where it gets good. Real conversations, unexpected sparks, and after every date, one final decision: Download and keep pursuing the connection, or Delete and move on for good. It’s a fresh, funny, occasionally brutal look at the gap between what we say we want and what actually pulls us in.

Where to watch: Streaming exclusively on OWN’s digital platforms starting July 2026.

Why we’re paying attention: OWN has consistently made room for creator-driven content that actually reflects who’s shaping culture right now, and this is another example of that commitment showing up in real time. Both series were produced by Content.23 and Pauline Malcolm-Thornton’s BrandStory Architech, and both put women squarely in charge of their own narrative.
