The opening half was evenly balanced, with both teams showing attacking intent. St Noa Girls FC enjoyed spells of controlled possession and came closest to breaking the deadlock midway through the half, but goalkeeper Molly Naava Nabitaka produced a fine save to deny Marion Serenge.

The closing stages were marked by end-to-end action, with Serenge denied an equaliser in a one-on-one by Molly Naava, while Namanda missed a chance to extend the lead at the other end. She Corporate held firm through added time to secure maximum points in a hard-fought contest.
