St. Ignatius High School Proudly Cheers on Rosella Vega as She Embarks on Her Software Engineering Journey in Mexico

The halls of St. Ignatius High School are buzzing with immense pride and celebration today as one of our shining stars prepares to take a monumental leap across the border to pursue her dreams.

Rosella Vega, a proud alumna of “Natius High,” has officially been awarded a prestigious software engineering scholarship at the Universidad de Quintana Roo (UPB), our esteemed partner institution in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Rosella’s journey is a powerful testament to resilience, dedication, and the belief that no dream is too big. As she steps into this thrilling new chapter, the entire school community and the wider Cayo District are rallying behind her, lifting her up in our thoughts and prayers as she tackles this exciting international challenge.

Reflecting on her momentous achievement, a deeply grateful Rosella took a moment to express her heartfelt appreciation to those who helped shape her path. She extends her deepest thanks to her teachers, school administrators, and especially her mentor, Mr. Byron Sierra of APEB (license network engineer), who stood firmly by her side, guiding and supporting her even through the most difficult times.

“I am ready for this challenge, and I promise to represent Natius High well,” Rosella shared, her eyes set firmly on a bright future in the tech world—a field where female representation is growing and where she is undoubtedly destined to leave her mark.

Stories like Rosella’s remind us of the incredible potential nestled within the classrooms of Santa Elena Town and across Belize. With hard work, a strong support system, and unwavering faith, the world truly is within our youth’s reach.

As Rosella packs her bags for Mexico with her laptop in hand and big dreams in her heart, we send her off with our deepest blessings, loudest cheers, and a reminder of where her journey began.

TGBTG (To God Be The Glory).

BBN wishes Rosella Vega boundless success on her academic journey!
