The NBA is back, and so is our runway of courtside style, basketball baddies, and head turning tunnel fashion.

The 2026–27 season opens today, Tuesday, Oct. 20, with the Boston Celtics visiting the Detroit Pistons at 3 p.m. ET. Next, the defending champion New York Knicks host the Philadelphia 76ers at 7 p.m., followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder at the San Antonio Spurs at 9:30 p.m.

The NBA Returns Tonight & We’re Already Checking For The Fashion

Opening night gives fans a chance to root for their favorite teams, with Knicks fans ready to risk it all. Again. Still riding the high of their historic 2026 NBA Finals win, the franchise’s first title since 1973, the Knicks raise their championship banner tonight.

We’ll be watching for courtside cuties, with an eye on some of our favorite WAGS. These women lead fashion from the sidelines, giving us looks to gag over and save to our sporty-chic Pinterest boards.

This season brings new wives to celebrate. Coco Jones married Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell on Aug. 1. Two weeks later, Jordyn Woods wed Knicks champ Karl-Anthony Towns in Malibu.  Both lavish summer weddings were packed with NBA stars, flooding our timelines with images of love, family, and glamorous style.

In addition to the new wives, we have returning ones like Ayesha Curry and Savannah James and girlfriends like A’ja Wilson and GloRilla ready to cheer on their men and their teams and look good while doing it. Here are the real-life basketball wives and girlfriends we know will be giving us style inspo and outfit goals all season-long.
