Learners at St Dominic’s College handed teachers heartfelt appreciation notes in a wholesome activity to remind them of the impact they have on their lives.
Welkom, South Africa (01 June 2026) – At St Dominic’s College, a simple piece of paper ended up meaning far more than anyone expected.
Learners recently took part in a touching teacher appreciation activity where they handed out notes reading: “Give this to a teacher who…” followed by heartfelt messages dedicated to different educators around the school.
Some notes praised teachers for always making learners laugh, others thanked educators for their patience, kindness and support.
The school shared the touching moment online alongside a message of gratitude to educators. They also highlighted how even the smallest acts of kindness can carry powerful meaning, especially when it comes to recognising the dedication and hard work teachers put in every day.
“To all our teachers, we see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you,” the post read.
Just learners taking a moment to remind their teachers how much they mean to them.
