Four teenagers -a rapper, a poet, a vulnerable girl and an overachiever – navigating identity, grief, faith, and peer pressure within the confines of school and everyday life. As they face challenges at home, in the classroom, and with peers, these young people confront the expectations placed on them – by others and by themselves – and learn what it truly means to be heard.
For these kids, school isn’t about surviving exams – it’s about surviving life. Raw, honest, and deeply human, Meet the Kids invites audiences to listen closely to voices we too often ignore, celebrating resilience, courage, and the power of speaking out.

ALMA promises guests a welcome escape from the bustle of the capital. Owned by Englishman Mansion, governed by Pearl and coveted by her beguiling daughter Ruby – each with their own business plan in mind.
An unexpected stranger – Diamond – carries in a rum delivery, bringing with him a familial revelation and a pursuit for wealth. His deal with a corrupt US Marine imperils ALMA, and all who call it home. One wrong move and everything could shatter, but who will play the right game?

Set to a Caribbean South London soundtrack, A to B is about the beauty and absurdity of trying to be seen and to connect in a world that won’t stop interrupting. It’s about showing up: for love, family, yourself, even when you’re late, lost, or covered in mud. A coming-of-age romcom where nothing goes to plan, but everything still matters.

Six voices, two companies. Selorm Adonu will be showcasing excerpts of his groundbreaking explosively, visceral, multidisciplinary, spoken word theatre production “Brother’s Keeper” at Hackney Empire, in order to help fundraisers to for Edinburgh Fringe and a UK Wide tour!!!
Brother’s Keeper blends poetry, dance, movement and theatre, the piece delivers a raw exploration of brotherhood, grief, mental health and the unspoken tensions within family, all within the confines of an exciting surprise birthday party that the audience are invited to enjoy and attend.
Selorm will be joined by a stellar lineup of spoken-word talent, including globally renowned London-based poet, writer, and speaker Suli Breaks,best known for his explosive, multi-million-view spoken-word films exploring modern education; Dujon Thompson (Big Scoop), a spoken-word artist and poet who turns real-life experiences into punchlines through intricate wordplay and raw storytelling; and Chloe Carterr, the Hackney-raised poet, performer, and storyteller celebrated for transforming everyday moments into cinematic spoken word.

Carlos Acosta presents the latest graduates from his Cuban Dance Academy in Next Generation, a programme full of energy, technical skill, and Cuban passion.
The performance speaks to the Caribbean Island, recreating the bodies, lights, and shadows of a country.
Fuga addresses the tragedy that the constant migration of its people represents for a country like Cuba. Choreographer Susana Pous confines her dancers to a small area of the stage and from there develops a story about failed struggles, unfinished stories, pain, and empty spaces.
